Holiday Inn Express recently opened a new 68-room location in downtown Baltimore. One block from City Hall and near medical facilities, government buildings and educational institutions, the hotel represents an expansion of the Holiday Inn Express brand in the area. Located in an historic building from 1924, it is the brand’s fifth hotel in the area.
The expansion is part of the Holiday Inn brand relaunch, which affects more than 3,300 hotels worldwide. Goals of the relaunch are to improving quality and consistency at Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express hotels.
Hotels outfitted with the new brand standards include: lobbies upgraded to be less cluttered, new signs, logos and exterior lighting. The rebranding also includes an extensive training program for Holiday Inn employees.
